Do any of your candles contain essential oils?
While we love the smell and benefits of essential oils, unfortunately they are not designed to be burned and some may actually harmful when ignited. We use "clean scents" fragrance oils in all of our products, which means that they are phthalate free and adhere to RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity. More importantly, you don’t need to worry if these fragrances are safe for your home.
What is the best way to extend the life of my candles?
Be sure to burn your candle for 3-4 hours the first time you light it. Allowing the melt pool to span edge to edge establishes the candle’s memory and ensures a healthy lifespan. Also remember to trim your candle wick to 1/4 inch prior to each use. Doing so will maximize the candle’s burn time. Make sure to discard the trimmed portion in the trash. Never leave wick trimming in your candle.
